LEOTARDS
APPAREL
GRIPS

Correct fit of your leotard is essential for an athlete’s performance. Use the chart provided below to determine which size corresponds to the gymnast’s measurements. If in between two sizes, round measurements up and order the larger size. Apparel should be worn in a fitted manner, but never restrict movement.

1. Chest Measurement
Measure while athlete has their arms relaxed down to their sides. Run a flexible measuring tape across, taking measurements at the fullest part of the chest. Always keep tape horizontal while measuring.

2. Waist Measurement
Measure around the narrowest part of the waist, typically where your body bends side to side.

3. Torso Measurement
This is the most important measurement for the athlete. Start from the middle of the shoulder, diagonally move down the torso, through legs, and back to the starting point on the shoulder.

Use the chart below to determine your size. If you’re on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your measurements correspond to different suggested sizes, order the size indicated by your chest measurement for jackets and hip measurement for leggings.

4. Hip Measurement
To achieve the most accurate hip measurement, find the widest point of her hips and place the measuring tape around. Tip! The hip bone often isn't the widest point, it's one to two inches lower, where her hip is at its fullest.

5. Inseam Measurement
The vertical distance from the midpoint of the crotch to the floor, taken while standing and without shoes.

Use the chart below to determine your correct grip size.
